Lawn Mowing & Maintenance

Residential and Commercial Lawn Care & Lawn Mowing Services

During the summer it can be difficult to maintain a luscious green lawn. Between mowing, weed eating, raking, pulling weeds and watering it can become quite overwhelming.

Elite Landscaping offers residential and commercial mowing. Our mowing service includes line trimming, edging and blowing. We trim or edge along your home or office foundation and all fence lines, as well as around trees, flower beds, sidewalks, and curbs. After trimming, we use blowers to remove debris from all hard surfaces.
Residential and Commercial Lawn Care & Lawn Mowing Services

While lawn mowing can be a fun and relaxing weekend activity, we understand you may not have the time and energy to mow the lawn when it is needed.

Our specialists will first evaluate the situation, assess the grass varieties growing on your property and factor in the climacteric conditions of your area.

Mowing Frequency
Frequent mowing helps your lawn resist weeds, insects, and disease. Infrequent mowing causes too much grass to be removed at one time so the lawn looks thin, spotty, or burned. As a general rule, we never cut more than one-third the length of your grass at a time.

Mowing Height
Most cool-season grass types such as fine fescue and turf-type tall fescue have a recommended cutting height between two and a half to three inches. We generally cut grass at three inches because a lawn cut at this height will have a deeper root system and be more resistant to weeds and disease than shorter grass.

Clients with smaller properties will be pleased to know that all of our mowing crews are equipped with various sizes and types of state-of-the-art machinery. This enables us to cater to the specific needs of each individual site.

Mulching Versus Bagging Your Lawn Clippings
Elite Landscaping strongly recommends mulching the grass clippings back into your lawn. Mulching the grass is an excellent way to return valuable nutrients to your lawn. Bagging the clippings eliminates valuable nutrients from your lawn.

We sharpen the blades on our machines daily, so every lawn receives the cleanest cut possible. Dull mower blades make your grass appear jagged and uneven, and a dull cut makes your lawn more susceptible to disease.
